The weaving village in Vietnam: Ha Dong Silk Village

The Ha Dong Silk Village or are Van Phuc silk village, now part of Van Phuc Ward, Ha Dong district, the center of Hanoi is about 10km. This is a silk weaving village famous ancient beauty, with many patterns and most ancient Vietnam. Van Phuc silk garment selected each state to be under the Nguyen Kings.

Van Phuc silk was first introduced internationally at the Fair (1931) and (1938), the French considered the sophisticated type of French Indochina region, is very popular in France, Thailand, Indonesia ... From 1958 to 1988, Van Phuc silk products are exported to most countries in Eastern Europe; between 1990 and exported to many countries around the world, foreign exchange earnings for the country.
 
Van Phuc now has 785 households weaving, accounting for nearly 60% of households living in villages. Annually, Van Phuc produce from 2.5 to 3 million m2 of fabric, representing 63% of total revenue villages (about 27 billion). Currently, Van Phuc has over 1,000 machines and approximately 400 daily seasonal workers from around the region come here to work. Store silk grow more and more, forming three blocks silk with over 100 stores to meet the needs of visitors is increasing.
