NCS News - Swiss company Livingguard has developed a method that can directly neutralize bacteria and viruses with a cloth mask. Meanwhile, researchers at Textiltechnik Textile Technology Institute (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University conducted experiments on the physical and chemical properties of the fabrics used as masks. Researchers at the Freie Berlin University were able to demonstrate that the new fabric could reduce the bulk of the SAR-CoV-2 virus load by 99% in just a few hours ...

The basic principle in Livingguard Technology is the fabric surface contains strong positive charges. When bacteria come into contact with this technology, the cells of the negative charge bacteria will be destroyed, which will permanently destroy the microorganism. Unlike metal-based alternatives, the newly discovered technology will provide safety for both skin and lungs. Furthermore, Livingguard Technology has great sustainability that allows users to reuse masks up to 200 times without compromising safety or effectiveness.
